A Tchaikovsky Classic
Although the original 1892 performance was a flop, The Nutcracker has snowballed into a holiday must-see for families today. A traditional story with original choreography by Thomas Morrell, and Marleigh Bucenell, The Nutcracker has quickly become an NMBT audience favorite! Be sure to follow us for all updates and performance dates. In addition to shows in our home of Traverse City, NMBT strives to tour The Nutcracker to a new and deserving community every year.
