Upcoming Auditions

Audition for Northwest Michigan Ballet Theatre! Each year this non-profit youth ballet company perform The Nutcracker and a ballet in the spring. Dancers also can perform in the Downtown Light Parade, School Tour, Spring Concert and more!

Schedule: 

Company class will be held every Saturday 10:30-11:30 with rehearsal immediately following until 5:00 p.m. Additional rehearsals may be necessary. Jr. Company members that are involved in the Nutcracker may have rehearsals starting at 10:00am.

Dance Classes: 

All Full Company members are required to attend the classes below at the studio of their choice: 

• Two ballet classes

• Two pointe classes (if applicable) 

• One Modern class 

• One Jazz class 

*Dancers that are 8, or are not in the Children’s Intermediate level or above, are required to take one ballet class. Nutcracker only dancers are required to take 1-2 ballet classes/pointe classes based on ability. 

Commitment: 

Full Company rehearsals begin September 2026 through June 2027. The production fee per member is $350 for Junior Company (9-12 years of age) and $450 for Senior Company (13 and older).

For Nutcracker only, rehearsals begin September 2026 and conclude with performances in December. The production fee is $250 for Nutcracker only members.
